Terms of Use
All guests of the University and Legends of Notre Dame (Legends) are required to adhere to all University policies, regulations, guidelines as well as all local, state and federal laws concerning health, safety, intoxicants, narcotics, drugs and public order. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in forfeiture of the privilege to use university facilities and services.
Date Holds & Event Confirmation
A five (5) business day hold may be placed on the space without obligation. However, if there is interest from another party, a decision may be required sooner. An event is confirmed when Legends receives a signed contract accompanied by a rental deposit. No rentals of the program/nightclub space will be accepted for Thursday, Friday or Saturday evenings after 7 p.m. during the academic year, except during student breaks due to regular student programming in the space.
Rental Rate of the Program/Nightclub Area
The rental rate of the Legends program/nightclub includes the private use of the room, bar and lounge area, as well as the use of the Legends-owned tables, chairs, lectern, microphone, and public address system (set up and tear down of these items is included in rental fee). The use of more advanced audio visual equipment may require the use of qualified technician(s). Technician charges are in addition to rental prices and necessary staffing levels are determined by the Legends Facility and Programming Office. There will also be a manager on duty during all rental events.
Food & Beverage Service
Legends of Notre Dame offers full catering service for the program/nightclub space, including bar service. Legends Catering and Events Manager will be happy to work with you to determine your ideal menu and room layout. No outside food or beverage is permitted at Legends. Please note: patrons who wish to consume alcohol at Legends must be at least 21 years of age with a valid, government issued, photo ID.
Reservation Changes/Cancellations
The main contact person on the reservation is the only person that can make changes to the reservation or cancel the reservation. A person or organization may not cancel their event and “give” the date/reservation to another. Reservations may only be made directly through the Legends Facility and Programming Office. Any changes to an event must be communicated immediately to the Legends Facility and Programming Office. If an event is cancelled, the deposit will not be refunded or transferred to another date.
